Common questions

Does FendLand read my texts?
The app's automatic filter never sends your texts anywhere. It classifies unknown-sender messages on-device, inside Apple's Message Filter sandbox, and your contacts and iMessages are never touched. The only text that reaches our servers is one you choose to paste into the scanner.
Will it work on my carrier?
Yes. FendLand runs at the OS level on both iPhone and Android, so it works across US carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and the major prepaid brands.
How is Android different from iPhone?
The scanner and data removals are the same on both. The always-on layer differs a little: on iPhone, FendLand filters unknown-sender spam texts into Junk and blocks known spam callers; on Android, it screens and blocks spam calls before they ring. Text filtering is the one iPhone-only piece, since Android does not let apps filter texts.
Is the scanner free?

What is number and port-out monitoring?
Pro watches your registered number for a port-out attempt, the move a scammer makes to hijack your number and your two-factor codes. If your carrier fingerprint changes unexpectedly, you get alerted.
Can FendLand protect my home closing from wire fraud?
Yes. If you are buying a home, add your closing in the app and forward any email about wiring money to your private check address. FendLand reads the sender and the links and flags likely wire-fraud attempts before you send, when a redirected wire is almost never recovered. It is included with Shield Pro. FendLand flags risky emails and never marks one safe, so always confirm wire instructions by phone.
