The short version
FendLand uses a small number of cookies, and only the ones needed to run the site and keep it secure. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we never sell your data. Our static files (images and fonts) are served from cookie-free paths.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for core functionality and cannot be turned off without breaking the site:
- Sign-in session — set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you logged in to your account. Only present if you create an account and sign in.
- Free-scan counter (
fl_scans) — counts how many free web scans you have run so we can enforce the free limit and prevent abuse. It holds a number, not your identity, your name, or the content of any message.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors arrive from. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.
What we do not use
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, no data-broker or ad-network cookies. Fighting the companies that profit from tracking you is the reason FendLand exists, so we hold ourselves to the same standard.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies may sign you out or reset your free-scan count. Because we do not use advertising or tracking cookies, there is nothing to opt out of beyond your own browser controls.
