What GladIKnow exposes about you
Your name, street address, phone number, homeowner status, home value, length of residence, and income band. It is one of the first places a wholesaler or skip-tracer looks to attach your cell number to your name and address.
How to opt out of GladIKnow
- 1Open the GladIKnow opt-out page and search your first name, last name, city and state.
- 2Find the record at your street address and choose Remove my Data. If you have more than one record at that address, remove each one.
- 3Add an email only if you want a confirmation, tick the captcha and submit. GladIKnow says the request is processed shortly.
- 4If your state is not in its drop-down, write to privacy@gladiknow.com instead. Its privacy policy offers deletion to anyone by email.
- 5Search again in a week or two to confirm the record is gone.

GladIKnow is one of 235 broker sites Shield Pro covers
The same records that put you on GladIKnow are spread across our full data-broker opt-out list, and that spread is how wholesalers and spammers got your number in the first place. Opting out of one site helps for a while, then GladIKnow re-lists you after its next data refresh. FendLand shows where you are listed. Shield Pro removes it for you at most sites, walks you through the rest, and re-checks every 90 days.

Questions
Is GladIKnow legitimate?
Yes. GladIKnow is a real company, not a scam. It is a people-search data broker: it compiles public records, marketing data, and social profiles into a page on you and shows or sells it to anyone who searches your name, including wholesalers and skip-tracers. Compiling public-record data is a legal business in the US, which is why it can list you without asking first. Opting out is your right and it is free: GladIKnow publishes its own removal process, and you do not have to give a reason.
Why is GladIKnow showing my information?
You never gave GladIKnow anything. It scrapes and buys public records (county property and voter files, court and marriage records), marketing databases, and social profiles, then links them into one page under your name and publishes it automatically. You show up the moment those records mention you, which is why it can appear without warning. Compiling public-record data this way is legal in the US, and that same law is why you have the right to opt out for free.
Will removing myself from GladIKnow stop the "we buy your house or land" texts?
It helps, but GladIKnow is one of many people-search sites, and it re-lists you after each data refresh, so you need to opt out everywhere and re-check on a schedule. Shield Pro removes your info from most of the 235 broker sites for you, walks you through the rest, and re-checks every 90 days.
