How to opt out of Porch Group Media
- 01Open the Individual Opt-out Form. It is branded PGM Solutions, the name Porch Group Media now uses, and the old V12 Data website redirects to the same company.
- 02Choose who the request is for: yourself, someone you are a legal guardian or power of attorney for, or a deceased family member. Each request covers one person.
- 03Enter first and last name, street address with apartment number, city, state, 5-digit ZIP, email, phone and today's date as MM/DD/YYYY, then click Submit Form.
- 04PGM says it removes your name, address, phone and email within 10 business days. It may ask you to take extra steps to confirm your identity, and an unconfirmed request is closed.
FendLand last confirmed this opt-out link works in Oct 2026.
THE DURABLE FIX
Porch Group Media is one site. You’re on dozens.
The same records that put you on Porch Group Media are spread across our full data-broker opt-out list, and that spread is how wholesalers and spammers got your number in the first place. Opting out of one site helps for a while, then Porch Group Media re-lists you after its next data refresh. FendLand shows where you are listed, tracks every removal, files the ones that accept an agent, and keeps re-checking because they come back.

Questions
Is Porch Group Media legitimate?
Yes. Porch Group Media is a real company, not a scam. It is a data broker: it buys and compiles property, ownership, and contact records, then licenses them to marketers, lenders, and the skip-trace tools wholesalers use to find owners to call. That is a legal business in the US, which is why your records can be in its database without you ever hearing of it. Opting out is your right and it is free: Porch Group Media publishes its own request process, and you do not have to give a reason. Some property and mortgage data may be kept under regulatory exemptions, so a removal can be partial.
Why is Porch Group Media showing my information?
Porch Group Media builds its file on you from public property and mortgage records, recorded deeds, and commercial marketing data it licenses in bulk, not from anything you handed it. Your name enters its database the moment you appear on a recorded document, which is why it can list you with no signup. You can request removal or suppression for free, though some property and mortgage records may be retained under regulatory exemptions.
Will removing myself from Porch Group Media stop the "we buy your house or land" texts?
It helps, but Porch Group Media is one of many data brokers feeding the same marketing and skip-trace lists, and the records return after each refresh, so the durable fix is removing yourself across the whole set and re-verifying on a schedule, not once. FendLand tracks every removal, files the ones that accept an agent, and re-checks on a schedule.
