WHOLESALER SKIP-TRACE TOOL · REMOVAL GUIDE

DataSift opt out: how to remove yourself

DataFlik Inc, doing business as DataSift, is the platform formerly known as REISift. It sells nationwide owner-list pulls and unlimited skip tracing that returns owner phone numbers and emails, the same workflow wholesalers run on PropStream. The old reisift.io address now redirects to datasift.ai.

How to opt out of DataSift

  1. 01Email support@dataflik.com, the address DataSift's privacy policy names for access, correction and deletion requests. Copy privacy@datasift.ai, which the same policy lists for privacy questions.
  2. 02Ask for deletion of your personal information and suppression from future list pulls and skip traces. Mention the former REISift name too, since records may have carried over from that platform.
  3. 03Include your full name, every property address you own, your mailing address, and every phone number and email you want removed, so they can match each record in their system.
  4. 04If DataSift says owner names and parcels are public record, ask it to remove the phone numbers and emails anyway. Skip-traced contact details are not public property records.

The button opens an email to support@dataflik.com with the request already written. Add your details before you send it. This is the address DataSift’s privacy policy gives for these requests, last checked Oct 2026.

THE DURABLE FIX

DataSift is one site. You’re on dozens.

The same records that put you on DataSift are spread across our full data-broker opt-out list, and that spread is how wholesalers and spammers got your number in the first place. Opting out of one site helps for a while, then DataSift re-lists you after its next data refresh. FendLand shows where you are listed, tracks every removal, files the ones that accept an agent, and keeps re-checking because they come back.

Questions

Is DataSift legitimate?

Yes. DataSift is a real company, not a scam. It is a skip-tracing and lead tool that real-estate wholesalers and investors pay for to attach a phone number to a property owner, then text or call them. Selling that data is a legal business in the US, which is why your number can be in it without you ever signing up. Opting out is your right and it is free: you can ask DataSift to suppress your information, and you do not have to give a reason. The texts you get come from its users, not from DataSift itself, so blocking one sender does not remove you from the tool.

Why is DataSift showing my information?

DataSift shows your details because one of its paying users looked up a property tied to you, and it matched your name to a phone number pulled from upstream data brokers. It is a lead tool for investors and wholesalers, so your number is there to be found, not because you signed up. You can ask it to suppress your data for free, but it re-traces from those upstream sources, so a listing can come back.

Will removing myself from DataSift stop the "we buy your house or land" texts?

It helps, but wholesalers can still reach you through the people-search and data-broker sources DataSift pulls from, so the durable fix is scrubbing those too and re-checking on a schedule, not once. FendLand tracks every removal, files the ones that accept an agent, and re-checks on a schedule.
