It is a skip-tracing and lead tool that real-estate wholesalers and investors pay for to attach a phone number to a property owner, then text or call them. Selling that data is a legal business in the US, which is why your number can be in it without you ever signing up. Opting out is your right and it is free: you can ask DealMachine to suppress your information, and you do not have to give a reason. The texts you get come from its users, not from DealMachine itself, so blocking one sender does not remove you from the tool.
