How to remove yourself from LexisNexis Risk Solutions
Major data aggregator that supplies skip-tracing and contact data to real estate platforms and investment firms. Opt-out through their consumer portal.
What LexisNexis Risk Solutions exposes about you
Contact and household records tied to your name and address, often including property and ownership details, packaged and sold to marketers and skip-tracers. These are the records a wholesaler or investor buys to decide which owners are worth cold-texting and calling.
How to opt out of LexisNexis Risk Solutions
- 1.Go to the LexisNexis consumer opt-out request form
- 2.Select the suppression types you want (prescreen credit offers, direct marketing, and public records or people-search). Choose all that apply
- 3.Enter your first name, last name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, and date of birth
- 4.Optionally add your middle name, email, and phone. Adding your email brings email-linked records into scope
- 5.Optionally provide the last four of your SSN or a driver license number and state to improve match accuracy. These are not required
- 6.Submit and save the confirmation number shown
- 7.If you entered an email, click the verification link sent to it to confirm email-linked data is in scope
- 8.Allow up to 30 days. Email fallback privacy.information.mgr@lexisnexis.com. Note LexisNexis has an FCRA carve-out, so its Accurint and underwriting products stay FCRA-regulated and retain your data regardless of this opt-out, which covers marketing use only

Questions
Is LexisNexis Risk Solutions legitimate?
Yes. LexisNexis Risk Solutions is a real company, not a scam. It is a data broker: it buys and compiles property, ownership, and contact records, then licenses them to marketers, lenders, and the skip-trace tools wholesalers use to find owners to call. That is a legal business in the US, which is why your records can be in its database without you ever hearing of it. Opting out is your right and it is free: LexisNexis Risk Solutions publishes its own request process, and you do not have to give a reason. Some property and mortgage data may be kept under regulatory exemptions, so a removal can be partial.
Why is LexisNexis Risk Solutions showing my information?
Contact and household records tied to your name and address, often including property and ownership details, packaged and sold to marketers and skip-tracers. Major data aggregator that supplies skip-tracing and contact data to real estate platforms and investment firms. Opt-out through their consumer portal.
Will removing myself from LexisNexis Risk Solutions stop the "we buy your house or land" texts?
It helps, but LexisNexis Risk Solutions is one of many data brokers feeding the same marketing and skip-trace lists, and the records return after each refresh, so the durable fix is removing yourself across the whole set and re-verifying on a schedule, not once. That is exactly what FendLand automates.
