How to opt out of Verisk
- 01Email privacy@verisk.com or call 1-855-224-3293 and ask Verisk to delete the personal information it holds about you and stop disclosing it to its customers.
- 02Include your full name, every property and mailing address, and each phone number and email you want removed. Verisk says it may ask for a billing statement or utility bill.
- 03If you send a bill, black out account numbers and balances first. Verisk asks for that and says it uses the document only to verify your identity.
- 04If Verisk declines, reply to privacy@verisk.com with an appeal that names the decision you disagree with. Its privacy notice offers this appeal route through the same address.
The button opens an email to privacy@verisk.com with the request already written. Add your details before you send it. This is the address Verisk’s privacy policy gives for these requests, last checked Oct 2026.
THE DURABLE FIX
Verisk is one site. You’re on dozens.
The same records that put you on Verisk are spread across our full data-broker opt-out list, and that spread is how wholesalers and spammers got your number in the first place. Opting out of one site helps for a while, then Verisk re-lists you after its next data refresh. FendLand shows where you are listed, tracks every removal, files the ones that accept an agent, and keeps re-checking because they come back.

Questions
Is Verisk legitimate?
Yes. Verisk is a real company, not a scam. It is a data broker: it buys and compiles property, ownership, and contact records, then licenses them to marketers, lenders, and the skip-trace tools wholesalers use to find owners to call. That is a legal business in the US, which is why your records can be in its database without you ever hearing of it. Opting out is your right and it is free: Verisk publishes its own request process, and you do not have to give a reason. Some property and mortgage data may be kept under regulatory exemptions, so a removal can be partial.
Why is Verisk showing my information?
Verisk builds its file on you from public property and mortgage records, recorded deeds, and commercial marketing data it licenses in bulk, not from anything you handed it. Your name enters its database the moment you appear on a recorded document, which is why it can list you with no signup. You can request removal or suppression for free, though some property and mortgage records may be retained under regulatory exemptions.
Will removing myself from Verisk stop the "we buy your house or land" texts?
It helps, but Verisk is one of many data brokers feeding the same marketing and skip-trace lists, and the records return after each refresh, so the durable fix is removing yourself across the whole set and re-verifying on a schedule, not once. FendLand tracks every removal, files the ones that accept an agent, and re-checks on a schedule.
