How to opt out of Equifax IXI Services
- 1Go to Equifax's consumer privacy opt-out portal (covers marketing and analytics data, not your credit file)
- 2Enter your first name, last name, street address, city, state, and ZIP code (required fields)
- 3Optionally enter your date of birth, email address, and phone number. Equifax uses these to match your records more accurately.
- 4Optionally enter your SSN or ITIN (last four digits are sufficient). Not required.
- 5Check the privacy policy acknowledgment checkbox
- 6Complete the reCAPTCHA and click Go to Next Step
- 7On the next screen, select Right to Opt-Out
- 8Review and confirm your submission. Allow up to 15 days. Phone fallback: 1-866-295-6801. Note: this covers Equifax IXI and marketing subsidiaries only -- does NOT affect your Equifax credit file.
